Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Price Reduced
Mitsubishi started the local production of Pajero sport at the Chennai plant.So Mitsubishi has reduced the price of New Pajero sport by a big margine.Mitsubishi sold the pajero sport in India by CBU route because of the high duties Pajero sport is priced at RS 24.43 Lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi).Now after the local production Pajero sport is priced at RS 22.56 Lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi).
which is a drop of 1.87 Lakhs.This will certainly make the SUV more attractive in the festival season.Current Localization on the pajero sport is 14 % but Mitsubishi will increase it to 30 % in April.So we could see more volumes for the Pajero sport as prices get reduced.
With the price reduction Mitsubishi is expecting a 20 % market share in the SUV segment.Toyota fortuner and the new Ssangyong Rexton will be the two main rivals for the Pajero.Toyota has now launched a new limited edition variant.Pajero sport is powered by 2.5 L diesel engine which makes 178 PS of power and 400 NM of torque.Mitsubishi now has 40 dealerships in India.They are looking to improve it to 55 before the end of this year.
